At Twine & Cordage, we believe that business success must go hand in hand with social responsibility. For decades, we have invested not only in manufacturing excellence but also in building stronger communities.
We proudly host students from the Harare Institute of Technology and the National University of Science & Technology, giving them practical training and attachments in textile technology within our spinning mill. By nurturing the next generation of engineers and technicians, we are safeguarding the future of Zimbabwean industry.
Our community outreach includes the construction of greenhouses for St. Joseph’s Orphanage (Belvedere, Harare), Mathew Rusike Children’s Home (Epworth), KGV1 Children’s Home (Bulawayo), and Rugare Orphan Care (Harare). These projects help vulnerable children gain access to food security and sustainable skills.
Twine & Cordage participates in various local charitable endeavors like supporting NOMADS - golfing Society dedicated to supporting various charities across Zimbabwe and the region. Where called upon, we sponsor other events where proceeds are channeled to charities and community upliftment initiatives.
Through these initiatives, Twine & Cordage is committed to giving back in every way possible—empowering youth, supporting communities, and building hope for tomorrow.
